Moscow Zoo Academy course: Zoo Fundamentals (training module 1)
On November 23 through December 4, 2026, the Moscow Zoo Academy will hold the 1st module of the course “Zoo Fundamentals”. The working language of the course is Russian.
The course will cover the basics of animal husbandry at zoos and aquariums, various aspects of veterinary science, safety, animal welfare, environmental enrichment, and behavior of animals and visitors. The course will also include a tour around animal exhibits of the Moscow Zoo.
The course aims to improve the professional level of zoo and aquarium staff.
