The Scientific and Practical Conference “Fauna of the Seas and Rivers of Russia on Zoo and Aquarium
Exhibits” will be held in Kogalym, Russia, on November 5 through 7. The Conference is dedicated to the 10 th
anniversary of the "Aquatica" Oceanarium. The working language of the Conference is Russian.
The Conference program includes a wide range of topics, including among others:
- management and breeding of native species of the seas of Russia – exchange of experience;
- exhibiting river and lake animals – challenges and prospects;
- demonstration of local ichthyofauna as an approach to ecological education – selecting the best thematic educational project;
- sustainable management of natural resources – linking aquaculture practices and aquarium exhibiting;
- aquarium map of Russia; a parade of amazing places extending from the White Sea to Sakhalin.
